Intro
Welcome to our APAC CIC session! Today we will guide you through the process of creating an Okta CIC (aka Auth0) tenant, which is the first step to getting started with Okta CIC. By the end of today, you will have a fully functional Okta CIC tenant that you can use to secure your applications. We will also create an account on the Glitch platform to host the custom application for this lab.
Scenario
To make today a little more fun, we are going to be integrating a login system for the Toy Corner, a small fictitious suburban toy shop that is looking to expand their business by going online. Not having an IT team they want it to be easy to set up and configure but with strong security like MFA to ensure kids don’t make purchases on their parents accounts by accidents, with language localisation as they have a large Spanish population that uses their website, and they want a way to differentiate customers signed up to their VIP Program who get access to special deals and early access.
